Evolve: Solar Age Privacy Policy

What the game sends, who receives it, what you can control — and, where something could not be determined, a plain statement that it was not.

Who this policy is from

This is the privacy policy for Evolve: Solar Age, the Android game published on Google Play under the package name com.seybakh.evolvesolarage. It is made by Fadel Gaba under the brand Seybakh Studios — a personal, unregistered brand, not a registered company. Contact: support@seybakh.com.

Which version this describes

This policy describes the Google Play production release 1.0.4, version code 5. It was written after examining that release and watching a real first launch on a clean device. Where something could not be determined from that examination, this policy says so rather than guessing — you will find those limits stated plainly in each section and gathered together near the end.

The game connects when it opens

Evolve: Solar Age contacts servers as soon as it starts — before you reach any gameplay. That is normal for a game with advertising and store features, but it is worth stating plainly, because it means some information leaves your device even in a session where you do nothing. Any internet connection also necessarily reveals your device's IP address and the timing of the connection to whoever receives it.

Advertising

The game includes Google Mobile Ads, and its Google Play listing says it contains ads. Google documents that the version of its advertising SDK included in this release collects and shares the following, for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention:

  • your device's IP address
  • how you interact with the app, such as app launches, taps and video views
  • diagnostic and performance information, such as launch time, hang rate and energy use
  • device and account identifiers — the Android advertising ID and the app set ID
  • Google states that the data its advertising SDK collects is encrypted in transit

Two different identifiers, doing two different jobs

The advertising ID is a resettable identifier that Android provides for advertising, and you control it in your device settings. The app set ID is a separate, privacy-friendlier identifier that Google provides so a developer can correlate usage across their own apps; Google documents it for analytics and fraud prevention rather than for personalised advertising. They are not interchangeable, and this policy does not claim the app set ID is used for ad personalisation.

Approximate location, and what it is not

The game does not ask for Android's location permission and does not read your device's location that way. Separately from that, Google documents that an IP address may be used to estimate a device's general area — a city-level approximation, not a precise position. Because the game connects to the internet, treat approximate location derived from an IP address as something that may happen; it is different from the precise location a location permission would give.

In-app purchases

The game offers in-app purchases and includes Google Play's billing library. Payment is handled by Google Play, not by us: we do not receive or store your card details. Information about a purchase or transaction status may be handled so that what you bought works in the game. This policy does not attempt to classify Google's legal role in that processing.

Licence and installer verification

When the game starts, a Google Play licence or installer-verification step runs — the ordinary mechanism that checks an app was obtained from an authorised source. What that step transmits, and to whom, is not something this policy can state, so it does not name any data field for it.

Unity-operated infrastructure

The game is built with the Unity engine, and when it opens it contacts servers operated by Unity — at launch and again while it is running. What is sent to them is encrypted, so it was not read, and which specific Unity service is on the other end could not be determined. This policy therefore does not name a Unity product, and in particular does not claim that Unity Analytics is what was contacted. What can be said is that Unity-operated infrastructure receives connections from the game, and that any such connection reveals your IP address and the timing of the connection to its recipient.

What this policy does not claim

Being straightforward about the edges of what is known is part of being accurate:

  • which specific Unity service is involved, and what is inside those encrypted messages, could not be determined
  • the examination looked for the ordinary ways an engine feature gets used and found none beyond what is described here; it cannot rule out every possible use
  • the game contains code libraries from Google for things like crash transport and location that show no sign of being configured or used; their presence in the package is not a claim that data is collected through them
  • this policy does not claim that interest-based advertising features such as Topics or attribution reporting were exercised
  • no consent behaviour in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom was tested
  • retention periods used by Google or Unity are theirs to state, not ours to invent

What you can control

The controls that genuinely exist for this game are:

  • your Android advertising ID — you can reset it or delete it in your device settings, which also limits ad personalisation
  • clearing the game's data, or uninstalling the game, which removes what it stored on your device including the consent state
  • where a consent or privacy message applies to you, the choices it offers and any privacy option it provides for changing them later
  • writing to support@seybakh.com with a privacy question — it is a way to ask, not a way to request deletion of data held by Google or Unity

Children

Parents or guardians who have questions about the game's privacy practices can write to support@seybakh.com.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes, the updated date at the top of the page changes with it, and a new release of the game may behave differently from the version described here. Questions go to support@seybakh.com.
